I came here last Sunday and had some late breakfast with some of my friends from my Highschool days.. We knew if we met up anywhere it was gonna be here. I actually hadn't been back here since I moved out in the Roasedale area in 2005.. So I was happy to come back. I met my friends and we had a great time.. THANK YOU TO THE GUY WHO SEATED US ... We always love going here. Great food, service is attentive by all staff, not just your own server. Brunch all day, why not?! Sometimes a little wait time but that's so they don't overload the servers or kitchen so it's a better dining experience and worth the wait for the quality of it overall. Very friendly. Surprisingly excellent service here for a small restaurant. The food tastes home made and the best of all. Reasonably priced, not expensive at all. I always like to try each restaurants version of French toast. This restaurant's French toast is delicious comes with bacon and maple syrup. It was a really great experience, and I would recommend this place for breakfast.
this place is the best. believes all great reviews. naomi, our server at the counter was so attentive and evil that we get our order to us. our coffee never showed up more than a quarter down before we got a refill. we had the trout, cinnamon roll (yes, it is covered with butter,) and earthy crepes. we had a lot of rest, but we were filled! that is a clear winner!
