I have been a patron of 28BBQ for 15 years, and the food has always been delicious. I wanted to give a special mention to Tony and his staff, especially Helen Elizabeth, for their amazing service in accommodating a last-minute party request. I approached Tony just 24 hours before my son's birthday party, as our original venue had fallen through. Tony graciously provided us with a beautiful dining area and allowed us to bring our own decorations. Helen Elizabeth was our hostess for the party and she did a fantastic job, even helping us set up the decorations. The food was tasty and the party was a success! I would definitely host another event here.
We enjoy dining at this restaurant, although the service can be lacking at times. However, we understand that we're all human. Despite this, there seems to be a recurring issue with errors when ordering over the phone. This has happened to me on seven separate occasions now - I pick up my order, only to discover upon arriving home that I have received the wrong items. It's frustrating to have to double-check everything to ensure I have the correct food. It seems that they may be overwhelmed and too busy to properly review orders.
Absolutely the most rude customer service ever!!!You’re paying a good amount of money for miniature shrimp/chicken. You would think that they would say hello and greet you. As you’re waiting outside for your food knock on the window to let you know that your food is ready. This is ongoing. The attitudes are disgusting. And I will never spend another dollar in this restaurant. I’ve been in bound Brook now for 14 years. I’ve never been so disgusted.
This place used to be good but their customer service and food needs to improve. I’m kind to those that show up to work but this place needs to understand that as a consumer we keep your business afloat. Anyways, when I said the tres leches was undercooked and it had an old taste I wasn’t asking for 3 additional pieces as if I was asking for charity. Perhaps you should start tasting your own food and desserts. Won’t be back to this place.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! Placed an order over the phone and was told it would be ready in 25 mins but when my husband got there to pick it up they told him they didn’t have an order and they already turned off their grills. They either lost the order or just chose not to make it, either way save your time and money!! One star is way more than they deserve!!
my mother came to visit and we had some failed trying to eat, everywhere was an hour waiting. we came across this place and it wasn't what we expected. the money worth! they get a lot of food, and it is also amazing! definitely back!
this place is fantastic family atmosphere that my brother brought me here for birthday and what a fantastic birthday dinner they served me. it is also close to several fantastic interior attractions.
The steak was overcooked once again, the meat was very thin and the rice was dry and lacked flavor. I should have just taken the extra time to go to Middlesex BBQ instead.

Amazing food, stellar service and bountiful portions. Would highly recommend this place if you'd like to try something new. You'll soon become a regular.
