I had a wonderful meal featuring the Portabella burger and sweet potato fries, and the homemade bread pudding was absolutely delicious. Our waitress, Tatani (sorry if I got the name wrong), was fantastic. The craft beer flights were delightful as well. Entering this 'cellar' pub through the alley felt like discovering a hidden gem while visiting Howell. It was recommended by Jodi, our concierge at the Holiday Inn Express, and I'm so glad we took her advice to explore a local spot!
Had dinner and drinks for the first time tonight with a friend who had frequented it before. Our server was awesome and very friendly. There was a small wait, but I expected one on a Saturday night, so no problem there. While we waited we also had drinks. I loved the atmosphere—it was nice to go somewhere different and unique. The food and drinks were fantastic and our service was awesome. I don’t have a bad thing to say and will definitely be coming back!
This is one of our favorite places to eat in Howell, and after our visit on Friday, I have to say it has now moved to the top of our list! A big thank you to the owner, Mr. Parker, and the staff for accommodating our visit for a very close friend. You all went above and beyond for us, and we can't thank you enough! The wait staff is outstanding, and the bar prepared a vintage drink for me, even though it wasn't on their menu! The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing! The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. The only downside is that the second room can be a bit noisy, but I actually liked it! This is the only restaurant where I will have a real dinner at Howell. There is nothing wrong with the bar food you can get around the city, but if it's a real meal, you can't beat the menu. The prices are great as the drinks! The cocktails here are creative, delicious and NIE watered. Very attentive and friendly staff. Go for the scallops, risotto, shrimps and grits as well as the appetizers and sliders.
Love this place! We went for the first time last week and we will for sure be back! The food was perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere was cozy but lively. Our waitress Jessica was wonderful. We ordered her recommendations and couldn't have been happier. I will definitely request her next time!
