Long wait for food on Mother 's Day. Set menu. £37. For 3 courses. Starters and main courses okay. Two roasts and a lasagne food was nothing to write home about. Sorbet for dessert, no flavour, just appeared to be coloured soft ice. My daughter had cassata, again no flavour at all. We didn 't eat our desserts. For each course we waited 30+ minutes. Other guests who arrived half an hour after us finished their courses way before us. We ordered coffees to go with our desserts. They arrived and we had finished them before our desserts arrived. Visited for the first time today after being recommended this place a few times in the past. It did not disappoint! Decor is nice enough and service very good, but the FOOD!....wow.. We had 6 different dishes amongst our 7 person group, and every one was absolutely delicious. Mine was the best pork dish I have ever tasted, and similar comments made about the Lasagne, Veal and prawn risotto. I cannot emphasise enough how good the food was! It is quite expensive but for once I would say it is totally worth every penny. Fowlers farm charge similar prices now but there is simply a gulf in food quality. My partner surprised me with a reservation at this restaurant and I have to say, it was really enjoyable. The staff was attentive from the moment we arrived until we left, and the food was excellent with a good variety of options. The dessert menu was also impressive. We both ordered the veal cutlets and they even kindly wrapped up the bones for our dogs. We shared a calamari starter, which was a nice touch as not all restaurants allow you to do that. We definitely plan on returning and highly recommend a visit. I've already decided what I want to try next time. Thank you, 47 Street, for a lovely evening.
Visited here with my family for a birthday meal. Our group consisted of 7 adults and one child. In the summer I could see it would be a nice place to visit with a nice area outside with seating and a climbing frame. The food was nice, portion sizes were ok and the price was slightly on the dearer side. The reason I am saying it is average is because of the service. Whilst we was in there so was some other large groups. Sadly we got lost and service became slow and impersonal. The restaurant was clean and it offered a good menu.

We had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant, with a diverse menu and daily specials to choose from. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. The only drawbacks were the limited parking across a busy street and our cramped table in a dimly lit corner. It would have been nice to see some smiles from the manager/owner as well.
The restaurant had a friendly and attentive staff who welcomed us warmly and asked for feedback. The meals were well prepared and presented nicely, with a great selection of desserts.
We had a most delicious lunch sitting in the beautiful garden at 47 The Street. The service was exceptional, as was the ambience. Would definitely recommend.
We had our wedding reception here In December. The food was amazing and the staff just superb.. Thanks for making our special day so memorable.
