Came to 5th Taylor to celebrate a birthday, and was taken aback by how inviting and hospitable the staff here is. Most servers were smiling and having pleasant interactions with guests, and our server in particular excellently guided us through the dinner menu and communicated genuine care in making sure our experience was top-flight. While the house cocktail offerings are a little basic and lacking, the drink menu is first rate and features outstanding local/regional offerings. For our main courses, I highly recommend the beer can chicken, which was cooked to perfection, though the beef cheek pot roast was also outstanding. The chicken was accompanied by some of the best mashed potatoes I've ever had, and I added a side of green beans roasted with garlic that paired beautifully with my meal.
The portions were generous, but I should mention there is a $5 fee if you wish to split a dish, so you might as well order your own and enjoy some leftovers! While we didn't receive a complimentary dessert for our anniversary, I didn't expect that from such an upscale venue. Overall, it was a delightful experience!
Wow! We had an amazing dining experience at 5th and Taylor. Both the service and the food were fantastic. The bacon-wrapped quail was exquisite, striking a lovely balance between sweet and savory. For our main courses, we tried the Beer Can Chicken and the Beef Cheek Pot Roast, and both were delicious. To finish off the meal, we indulged in the fried pie, which was exceptional. It was so good that I could have easily eaten three more right then and there!
Ryan was an amazing server, super knowledgeable with the entire menu, and I am sad to say we only got pictures of the donuts, but EVERYTHING was rediculously tasty and well balanced. We are definitely coming back at least for the service and the blueberry ricotta donuts, the most under-described item on the menu. This dish pairs well with a serving of their vanilla bourbon ice cream.

Amazing high end restaurant experience in Nashville. This was our group’s favorite outing on this trip. Service top notch and attentive Drinks really good! Ambiance pretty and quiet, good for both couples and groups! Very spacious. Food everything was very well prepared. Delicious! Highly recommend the beef cheek stew. Bathrooms funky design, worth a visit!
Overall, it was an outstanding experience. I went with a group and we sampled all the appetizers, and each one was excellent. The main courses were amazing, and the service was top-notch. It is on the pricier side, so keep that in mind, but it's definitely worth it. Food: 5/5
This place is just all around phenomenal. The cocktails are some of my favorite in Nashville, the food is simple yet elevated to excellence, the atmosphere is unparalleled and the service we received from Kevin was excellent- he’s terrific!So much finesse! Don’t miss out!
Topnotch experience. The menu is exceptional. Amanda's service and hospitality was above and beyond. Compliments to the chef as well. Definitely a go to for any occasion for the atmosphere is compatible for any mood you are in. The music and art topped it off.

The ambiance with the dim lighting was pleasant. The service was exceptional and the food was as well. Everything from the tri tip sirloin with ox tail gravy to the whipped potatoes to the beer can chicken was moist and flavorful. Highly recommend this spot!
