Entered the store at like 930 this morning and it was clean, organized and well stocked. I frequent 7-11 wherever I find them and am constantly disappointed by the state of the hot food selections. I knew chances were slim this early. However. I came in and saw a full display of crispy golden goods ready to satisfy my early lunch craving. Alyssa was super nice and assisting the family that entered before me. Great and positive attitude which is rare these days. Seeing a young person with bells on in the morning and their job in order is refreshing as someone who has trained many in a retail setting. The restaurant in Redford, MI, is dirty and poorly managed. I filed a corporate complaint after encountering a rude employee. The management failed to process refunds and did not honor the posted prices, seemingly adhering to an owner's policy. When I confronted the employee, they called the police for refusing to comply with the advertised prices. I also made a complaint regarding a 7-Eleven in Dearborn Heights, MI. They allow their Speedway stations to store plastic bottled water outside, exposing it to extreme temperatures. This leads to the water bubbling and pooling inside the bottles. Today, when it was 89°F, the "Ice Mountain" bottled water for sale was actually hot.
I attempted to get my Slurpee refill as a reward customer. The girl at the register told me I needed to bring back my previous cups, so I did. When I returned, I explained to her that the information online was different. I mentioned that I wasn't feeling well and that I might make other customers sick. Her response was that I wouldn't be getting anything, and then she had the police escort me out, along with the customer behind me.
I used to work here a few months ago, and since the new management took over, things have really taken a turn for the worse. The new managers often speak negatively about the employees and exhibit racist and intolerant behavior. It's not a good place to work or shop, plain and simple.

Extremely rude experience. The older lady at the cash register was verbally aggressive towards me because she wasn't paying attention. I spend a lot of money at this store, and I shouldn't be treated this way. I won’t return.
Aggressive staff members, inconsistent hours, under stocked, over all they need to close this location if they can’t keep it staffed and stocked.
Why are you closed? It's 10:09 PM, and I can see a Black woman at the register. The doors are locked, while a white man is bringing out donuts.
I would go to literally any other 7/11. When they got new managers i no longer enjoy coming here with my kids. very unfriendly
