Everything has been said about this place already and it's mainly true. Hospitality here is an obsession. We stayed in a cabana that was charming.The food is great. We stayed three nights and I'd say that was about right. Just about enough time to strike...down to Bonifacio on a day trip, take the hiking trail from Col de Bavella to Trou de la Bombe another day, and also fit in a visit to the Cucuruzzo Archeological Site. And you do need to keep active, the food is what my Mum called 'nourishing'. So why else three nights? Well the first night you might get the incredible slow cooked lamb, but if you don't stay on you would wonder what have you missed the next night Could be stuffed aubergin...

One regret is that we did not spend the night here after our evening meal. Partly because we were so full, we wished we could go straight to bed but also the hotel was beautiful. High up, great views and almost like a retreat. They...have a tasting menu that you get where you pick a few preferences. The food was delicious and the wine was great too. The highlight was the lamb we had that just fell off the bone. The restaurant had a very rustic feel with the log fireplace and their artwork and crockery. Great meal!

A Pignata is situated in a lovely area closed To Les Aiguilles de Bavella. The owners as well as all the employees are extremely nice, competent and helpful. The Corsican food is tasteful and the restaurant outside let you enjoy a beautiful view on the...Corsican nature while enjoying dinner. The pool/wellness area is perfect. Staying at A Pignata has been a treat and one can only love it. Thank you to all of you.
We did enjoy our stay at pignata. The personal is very friedly, personally and helphful. The location is made with nice small details. The views are amezing and pignata has charme.
