We love going out for Indian food on weekdays, particularly on Thursdays or Fridays. Our favorite cuisine is from the region of Punjab, which is known for its use of the Tandoori oven. We also appreciate the Sikh religion, where individuals with the surname Singh and uncut hair are likely to be followers. Brilliant service the two days Poppy went here. Two days in a row he might add, that's how good the food is. Poppy went to the Ascot Portside Wharf Aamaya restaurant. Poppy could absolutely not get enough of the Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic Cheese Naan. Out of this world. I'd go back in a heartbeat if and when Poppy is back in Brisbane. Some of the best Indian curry Poppy has ever sampled. Friendly service and nice location. Thumb up, definitely worth an eat!
After visiting Van Gogh Alive, we decided to grab a bite to eat at this restaurant. The food was not only delicious but also served quickly. The service was excellent, with a friendly and attentive waitress who catered to our needs. We were even provided with delicious complimentary naan bread to enjoy with our curry. I had a wonderful time and ended up eating more than I intended to. I will definitely be returning in the future.
Such a great dine in experience. The butter chicken was exceptional, served in a creamy well balanced sauce. Delicious coconut rice and the best garlic and cheese naan! Could not ask for anything better! Excellent customer service, staff are friendly and attentive could not fault! Aamaya is one of the top Indian Restaurants in Brisbane, by far exceeds may others 5/5 stars.

This place is amazing! THIS PLACE got me INTO Indian food, it's amazing and I really encourage people to try it out. This is the first review I've ever written and I had to do it for these guys. I'm a local and really love it! I wish they had more options for Vegan items, but even the meat dishes are amazing! I am drooling! Thankyou for your amazing food Aamayas!
Great service, the food was timely, and delicious the host was full of humour and made the visit enjoyable, they also were attentive to check up on us during our meal to see if it was all going well. The location was nice too. We went for a short walk along the waterfront to help settle all the food we had! Would recommend and will return.
This restaurant gives you the feeling of posh because you are sitting in Portside wharf. The place has good food, ambiance and service. You can visit this place when you crave Indian. Without the craving, it's an average to good Indian food. Then again, I am a picky person with Indian food.
I highly recommend this Indian restaurant, which is family-owned and operated. The interior design is stunning, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. Above all, the food is delicious. Many places struggle to make naan bread well, but this restaurant excels in it.

Excellent food and nice staff. Really enjoyed the Dhal and Naan bread which was complimentary. I think I could live on that alone! I would recommend trying Aamaya.
