Honestly would have given it zero stars if possible. One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. My husband and I just had to laugh our way through the meal because the entire experience was a joke!! SO many red flags upon entering the establishment and we should have left then. Unfortunately we went to try a different place downtown but they had an hour and a half wait time so we went here instead. I was staying in the area and passed by, I thought this would be great to try something different before I left. I chose poorly. They were having a special on tapas, 3 for $18. I ordered the patas bravas, mejillones a la vinegareta, and champiñones Al ajillo. The potatoes appeared to be frozen breakfast potatoes that had been fried. They had a bit of sauce on them but no spice at all. The mushrooms were supposed to be sauteed in garlic and olive oil, but we're swimming in and only tasted like wine. Taking advantage of another restaurant week visit we decided to give this spot a shot, as they offered three tapas for $18. Our three tapas included the pan con tomate y jamón, half a paella, and coles de Bruselas. Unfortunately, our expectations were set a bit high, and the reality left us somewhat disappointed. The brussels sprouts were our favorite of the trio, they were tender, crispy, and flavorful. The other two, while being iconic Spanish dishes, failed to live up. The pan con tomate was essentially bread with a slice of tomato. Atmosphere here is probably usually great, but the wife and I had to get an early dinner because of other plans afterward (we arrived at around 4:30PM and left around 6). The food drinks were both delightful, and we left very happy and planning on going back!
Very crowded and only play Spanish music and forget about ordering drinks you'll he waiting all night. But outside of that it is very very fun and if you're an extrovert then you'll always meet fun people to talk with.
