First came across Abundance on the Quay after being invited to morning tea with my Aunties whilst on holiday. Loved the food & the coffee from the get go & the service was excellent too even with a full service load on a busy Saturday morning! I tried the scones & the chai latte and they were excellent with particular mention of the delicious raspberry jam. The cafe quickly became more favourite place to grab breakfast before heading into Hobart. Special mention goes out to the Croque Monsieur which you need to allow a little longer when ordering but it's well worth the wait (sorry don't have a photo, was too delicious) Bear in mind there is limited table space so it pays to boo...
Geburtstag Brekkie für drei. Ich hatte die gebackenen Eier, mein Mann, der Croque Monsieur und mein Sohn den Scones. Wir teilten die Bruschetta für den Vorspeisen und das war erstaunlich. Mein Sohn erklärte sein den besten Milchshake aller Zeiten. Hubby verehrte das Croque und die Scones waren erstaunlich. Die Mitarbeiter waren entzückend. Leichte Verzögerung für das Netz, aber eine schöne erholsame Art, den Morgen mit den Papieren zu verbringen. Ich besuchte dann die Lady-Teil des Ladens, in dem ich eine einzigartige handgefertigte Brosche und ein schönes Paar Ohrringe kaufte. Ein schöner Tag dank Fülle.
It is a homeware and a clothing store combined with the cafe. Fit out was really cool with textured squares of overlapping plywood fixed onto the ceiling that was not only pleasing to tbe eye but also great for acoustics.A popular spot we saw, they were definitely short of staff on the floor and in the kitchen. Both coffee and the hollandaise eggs with smoke salmon took a long time to appear, but was worth the wait. The 3/4 lattes we had had rich crema, was nutty and smooth as.
The food was quite nice, however, I can only assume there was some sort of incident in the kitchen which took 20 minutes to solve, because as far as I'm aware it doesn't take 45 minutes to make eggs. Though, frankly it did seem as though this was the norm, as no body seemed particularly concerned.There were some lovely servers, but I would have to question the management... The food and coffee in this bright, trendy café are beautifully prepared. Great attention to detail without being fussy or pretentious. Fresh, delicious and generous. It was packed and service was very slow on both occasions we came (once for breakfast, once just for coffee), but we weren't in a hurry and the food and coffee made up for it.
Das beste Café, in dem ich in Hobart war. Tolles Essen, guter Kaffee und exzellenter Service. Kummer Kummer Bestellte die Wärme Bohnen und Nacho-Chips mit dem Suppenspezial und beide waren lecker. Wird definitiv zurückkehren, um den Rest des Menüs auszuprobieren.
A lovely place in gorgeous Bellerive, definitely the best place in Bellerive. Delicious coffee, iced coffee, hot chocolate, kombucha Yummy breakfast with good quality ingredients which I find important, a lot of local ingredients. The team is lovely and helpful!
Had a lovely lunch. Didn't book and was very busy, but luckily got a table. Wechad toasted sandwiches and they were served with a lovely salad and fresh salmon and ham. Will go back here. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Great place for a relaxing meal. Freshly prepared and no rush. Suggest you book early if you want brunch on a weekend as it is very popular
