aman and his family run this restaurant in the modest inviting wise. we went there a little late and he was very committed to all the information we requested, as we did with our little one. we also saw an old gentleman coming to take away, he saw that cricket was up and began to speak with aman. aman asked his son to get the food from the heart and put it on a teller his table in front of the television and let him watch the game and chat with him. this was 15 minutes before the near time. for us this experience is what defines a good Indian restaurant, the experience is as important as eating. on the food, the goat curry was great! so was the daal and pakora we had ordered before. the food...
In a world saturated with bland, run-of-the-mill Indian restaurants, it was a real joy finding this outlier. Aman and his family serve up by far the best Northern Indian food I've eaten since being there. They are friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the restaurant they've created. Plenty of veg options, and if you can resist the amazing side sauces, plenty of vegan too. Samosa with dipping sauces to start were amazing. They even have compostable packing for takeaway. Excellent takeaway from Culinary King! My takeaway from made fresh in 15 minutes flat (super quick! , all mains come with rice for free (which is something other Indian restaurants on the same street don't do , with papadums thrown in for free too! Super friendly staff and very tasty meal. Can't wait to dine in sometime! Hobartians should all support this new Indian restaurant. I've been to quite a few Indian restaurants around Hobart and this one is one of the best.
I visit the resturant first time with my family..its awsem food espically i would recommend to eat Aloo chat with coarinder paste with lemon...its too yummy really i feel like as eat totally taste as indian street food...All over its Fantastic Fabulous....thxs Culinary King Indian Restaurant...

Definitely one of the best dine in Indian places I've been to the food was delicious and they even offered us extra rice for free when we ran out. The food is very decently priced, especially for what you get. Will definitely be going back again and again :
Absolutely great food, the best Indian food I have ever had garlic bread was delicious. Will definitely go back there when next down South. Very friendly staff, do yourself a favour and try for yourself.
we stumbled a few weeks ago about this jewel, while on a holiday in hobart. nice eating the aromen were excellent. service was fabulous, in possession of a beautiful family. recommend this restaurant.
