This restaurant is really great—an authentic Mexican taqueria. The only thing missing is a fresh condiments bar with all the typical Mexican sauces and toppings, which would really enhance the experience. They offer a variety of well-prepared meats in generous portions. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and definitely plan to return. The prices were about what I expected; in fact, I think you get better quality food here for roughly the same price as a national Mexican fast food chain.
You can place online orders for pickup until 9:15 PM, but good luck if you're on foot after 8 PM. I was completely overlooked at the drive-thru and nearly got run over while waiting at the order sign. That's when I decided to hold my phone with the order confirmation up against the glass at the window, and finally someone agreed to give me my food. I really enjoy Acitunos and live very close by, but this experience left a very negative impression on me as a non-driver.
The young gentlemen working here are always polite and friendly. They communicate effectively through the drive-thru speaker and exhibit excellent manners, which is a rarity in today's service industry. They routinely suggest extra items like chips, which I often decline, but I appreciate their efforts! These employees consistently go above and beyond in providing service. Great job! Management, please recognize and reward your staff for their hard work!
I enjoy their rolled tacos and have them on a somewhat regular basis. On my last visit the person at the register was new and didn't enter my order correct so needed help fixing it. Decent drive through tacos. Nothing mind blowing but fair for the price. Breakfast burritos are also alright.
Carnitas burrito extremely salty with not much flavor. The green sauce helped. Too much rice as a filler.
