Visited last week with family. We all had the Christmas dinner menu which was very good. The food was freshly prepared, hot and nicely presented with a good choice. Lovely crispy hot roast potatoes which is always a sign of a good meal . Nice relaxed atmisphere in the newly refurbished restaurant. Every year we visit for a pre Christmas lunch and every year ask for bread sauce with the turkey but always told the chef does not do bread sauce. I keep hoping that one year this will be available and then I will give my review a five star rating.
We dined from the Christmas menu for the first time on Christmas Eve and it exceeded our expectations! The staff were extremely attentive from the moment we walked in, despite the busy holiday season. We tried the steak, turkey, and chicken dishes, and all were cooked perfectly. The restaurant has a modern and stylish ambiance with a great atmosphere. The staff, both in the front and in the kitchen, are truly commendable. We can't wait for our next visit in the new year.
In our opinion Rufford Arms is the best place to go for decent excellently prepared and served food in the North West. We have been to a 4 Star restaurant in the Ribble valley recently and the food was very disappointing. Rufford Arms sets the bar very high. So thank you, we do appreciate all your efforts, all we can say is that Rufford Arms is outstanding. The food the service and the staff are The Best around. We will be back very soon
I recently made a reservation for an early dinner at 6pm as a Christmas break and ended up staying until 10.30pm! The food was amazing, particularly the hot smoked salmon starter. The service and ambiance were excellent. I didn't realize it was music night, but the Elton John tribute added to the great atmosphere.

Having heard about their amazing roast I managed to book a table for the Sunday which was quick and easy online . Atmosphere was fab . Lots if groups of people celebrating birthdays . Roast was gorgeous would definitely book in again . Service was excellent
We had a wonderful dining experience in a peaceful atmosphere. The service, menu options, food quality, and ambience were all excellent. The meal was worth the price. We have already made a reservation for our next visit with friends.
