Quite an interesting little place it was packed when I arrived, but they had a table set aside for me. Service was top notch friendly, attentive (without being pushy and on top of a busy Saturday night crowd. Much of the seating is counter style seating, to give you a good open view of most of the 25 TV 's that line the walls. The crowd thinned out when the popular game ended, and sure enough the jukebox immediately went to Take me home, country roads and 100+ sport fan chorus sang along ...to the place, I belong...WEST VIRGINIA, Mountain Mama . When I think of sports bars, Greek food isn 't the place my mind immediately goes, but they make it work with a nice blend of Greek American hybrids...
we arrived at 5:10 and ordered our drinks and food. the chef, david stone, came to our table and apologized and told us that it fired the herd and it took an additional 10 minutes to serve us. we don't mind. we ordered a **** mary and a chardonnay and were not in a hurry. mr. stone personally served our dinner and it was great. it was worth waiting. After my wife and our meal ended, mr. stone came back to our table and asked us if we enjoyed our eating, we told him that this is great and we appreciate him coming to our table and asking. this was the first time that someone came out of the kitchen and asked us if we enjoyed the service. I enjoyed almost every aspect of my visit to Adelphia! I sampled their signature fried feta appetizer, beef souvlaki, dolmades, Greek salad, and baklava, and ended up with plenty to take home for dinner the next night! The fried feta is definitely a must-try! I loved all the ingredients, and they were combined beautifully. The beef was tender and bursting with flavor; I would recommend ordering it no more than medium rare. The service was excellent! Olivia was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and provided great recommendations.
This was a fantastic place to stop! They had an excellent selection of beers, the service was incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious! We chose to sit outside and received prompt service. Our server, Markaiah, was amazing and extremely efficient. We tried the fried pickles, boneless wings in the Adelphia/Hot style, and the gyro, all of which were tasty! I'm really glad we decided to come here; there are plenty of options in the area, and this was definitely a great choice!

First off. We are not these people. Secondly. Our server was flirting with some dude behind us the entire time we were there. She was 20 he was EASILY 30+. Thirdly my husband ordered fish and chips and i ordered a chicken sandwich and Mac n cheese. Mac n cheese was tolerable, chicken sandwich was HARD AS A ROCK. My husbands food however ugh. Everything on the Sunday brunch buffet was done with excellence. Light, fluffy biscuits with hearty sausage gravy. Tender chicken and sweet Belgian waffle with syrup. Perfectly crisped bacon and creamy scrambled eggs. And the breakfast potatoes were seasoned uniquely and had me craving more.
I have eaten here a few times with family and coworkers. Their burgers and gyros have been good every time. The Greek twist on classic American is neat. Adelphia is an easy recommendation for anyone craving pub food Charleston. Would be 5 stars if the service was improved.
This place is amazing. From the atmosphere that is just fun. To the staff which is friendly and makes you feel like your a regular even though it was my first time. To the FOOD?oh my gosh the food. Amazing. Portions are huge, flavor, flavor, flavor. Just go you?ll see.
