I love this place, but there was a cashier today who was rude. I asked for tamales as I usually do and she claimed they didn’t have any. We didn’t believe her so my boyfriend went by himself to ask and she said they did. How petty! I hope she gets more training. Idk why she would refuse to sell me anything if I was very polite. I thanked her afterwards though.Overall the food is great! And the rest of the employees are very friendly!
Absolutely amazing handmade pupusas! The staff is really friendly too. I highly recommend trying the locas; they were my favorite. When I visited, they also had horchata de morro, which is a unique treat—definitely give it a try if you haven't had it yet; it's delicious! As for vegetarian options, the spinach pupusas were excellent, and a vegetarian friend in my group thoroughly enjoyed them.
The wait time at this restaurant is incredibly long! It took the waitress about 10 minutes just to bring a to-go box. I specifically requested my food without cream, but they still added it, and I'm lactose intolerant. The service is frustratingly slow. There are plenty of other restaurants nearby with better food and customer service. Time is money!
The service at this restaurant has consistently been excellent, and I've never encountered any issues. If you're in a rush, I recommend placing your order in advance. While the food may take some time to arrive, I see that as a positive sign—it’s fresh, not frozen. The restaurant has only one cook, but there's plenty of seating available. I tried the pupusas but unfortunately, I didn't enjoy them. The cheese had a strong, unpleasant odor. The restaurant could definitely use a refresh. Food rating: 1/5.
