Afghan Charcoal Kebab Village

Meat cooked over real charcoal, sounds good to me. Thought I would give this place a try for dinner as I had a craving for a nice kebab, but this place is not your normal late night lamb and garlic sandwich van after a big night........I digress, nice clean neat restaurant with plenty of parking, Afghan decor and great service. Meal was very nice , not the pita rolled up in foil, but kebabs cooked over charcoal and served on a bed of spiced rice with salad and dipping sauces, yummy and certainly plenty of it. Not cheap, but worth the food quality. Will definately go again.

We eat here about 3 times a year at the end of a working week. The food is delicious and plentiful. Our main go-to is the 3 various kebabs which are served with salad and rice. No alcohol is available to purchase and you should not take your own in respect of their traditions. It is like a cafeteria in its dining aspect but clean and presentable. The meal is cooked as ordered and served quickly if you want a quick eat out experience. The cost of the food is very reasonable for the quantity and quality of what is served. Worth a try for a different experience and cuisine.

Having found this place was so thrilled to find the food was wonderful too, really took me back to the Middle east with great Kebabs and the bread was wonderful,

This place is simply amazing. Be it for TO GO or Dine in taste never fails generous portions. I visit at least 3 times in a week with my family.

Went for a snack but ended up eating dinner it was busy, clean and had the food was delicious and the best bit a great price.
