Went here for our Anniversary. Very quiet when we walked in...was very unsure of how it would be. We were seated right away and began an excellent meal. The server was kind and polite, and she was not overbearing. Which we definitely appreciate. I ordered the octopus and my husband ordered the charcuterie board for appetizers. Afraid that every "dining experience" in Niagara Falls will be tourist-traffic ordinary? Fear not, you can find an extraordinary dining experience, worthy of any world-class city, and capable of delighting the most discerning palate. Admittedly, you may have some doubts when you drive up because AG is located in the basement of a fairly ordinary-looking hotel, The Sterling. But, then, wow!!!!! Until last night, I had never heard of the AG Restaurant or the Stirling Inn. After the incredible meal, I will be sharing this restaurant with everyone I know. The chef is absolutely amazing. He uses locally sourced ingredients and chooses the veggies and salad fixings daily from their farm. It could not have been tastier. Our server was knowledgeable and efficient. The entire meal was perfect. I had perch done in a broth that I would have happily licked the plate clean. It took everything I had to remember my manners! My husband had venison which was tender and not gamely. He is still raving about it. I have to admit, I stole more than 1bite from his dish!
The chef of AG really is a treasure of Niagara Falls. The use/ballance of ingredients is superb. The price is reasonable and there is a really great menu. For what it's worth, one bartender/waiter made a pretty lousy martini..the other was perfect.VERY quiet on a Tuesday Night as the seating area is very spread out to different areas and levels. This was perhaps the best dining experience we have had in several years. My wife had the salmon dish and I had the farm to table dinner of the day which was rabbit. From appetizer to dessert all dishes were excellent as was the service. This is definitely one to go to for special occasions or to for a fine dining experience.

My husband and I enjoyed a very nice evening at this restaurant. Great ambiance, great service and wonderful food! Paul was an excellent and knowledgeable server. We had the salmon, hen and the corn bisque. Do not leave without trying the corn bisque!

Best restaurant place in Niagara Falls by far. Pricey but you get what you pay for. Excellent place for a date night or to take your sig other for a treat.
