I always have a great experience when I visit this restaurant; I've never encountered any issues with the service. It's been my favorite since I was a child, and I've been dining here for over 40 years. This is the go-to place whenever we have visitors in town. The unique flavor of the grilled dishes has a special seasoning that you can’t find anywhere else—it's a strong opinion of mine, but I think most people would agree. Family members, including my uncles and brothers, must have a meal here before they leave. It's truly a classic staple in Niagara Falls that should be recognized as a landmark after all these decades. Keep up the fantastic work, everyone—we truly appreciate and love you!
I grew up on Viola steak and cheese subs. Every time I come to visit, this is the first stop as I cross the grand island bridge into the Falls. Treated the wife and stepson to a cheese steak, and they both stated this is the best cheese steak I 've ever had! It was so good as always. Currently the inside seating area is under renovations, so it is only takeaway service at the side window, and cash only.
Always perfect! Best steak and cheese anywhere! Not only do I CRAVE Viola's steak and cheese subs, I can't even begin to tell you how many people I know, who have relocated from the area, that make it a necessary stop when they come home to visit. It's a thing in Niagara Falls! Although there are 2 locations, you can't beat the original on Elmwood!
