This restaurant offers a unique sushi fusion experience. The ambiance is excellent, the service is outstanding, and there's a vast selection of dishes with beautiful presentation. However, the flavor of the food could be improved. In terms of value for money, it's average when considering the taste and portion sizes, but the inviting atmosphere and the availability of private rooms for larger groups with set menu options help make up for that. Overall, it's a place worth considering, especially for a big group gathering.
I absolutely loved this à la carte sushi restaurant in the West Island. Every sushi dish we ordered was delicious and incredibly fresh. The staff was really friendly, which added to the great experience. The tempura was excellent—light and not too heavy. The sushi pizza was also quite tasty. You will definitely leave here satisfied, having satisfied your sushi cravings. This place is a must-try!
I was really disappointed with the sashimi. My friend mentioned that the sushi here is quite average compared to other places like Kyomi. The service was lacking as well; they seemed to be preoccupied with their regular customers. Overall, I feel like Aikawa is overrated. For lunch, the price per person is around CA$90–100.
The sushi is fantastic! The service is great, and it’s a nice quiet spot to enjoy a meal. The appetizers were just okay; we ordered the grilled calamari, which were burnt. STAY AWAY terrible customer service. Waiters feel entitled to a 15% tip, name is David. The food is average at best. Still waiting for the manager to contact us in regards to the debacle that took place. Maiko Sushi across the street is light years ahead.

We dined out tonight, and while the food was fantastic, the service could use some improvement. We experienced quite a wait, even though there were only two other tables occupied.
