a nice bar for paella and tapas in the middle of oxford city, I would recommend it for anyone who likes to eat Spanish, or would like to taste some Spanish dishes. the ambiente at al andalus is beautiful and the service was excellent. we tried two hot tapas dishes. 2. spicy king prawn in olive oil garlic, and would definitely recommend this to them. the patatas band (potato cube with cool tomato sauce and garlic mayonnaise) is also amazing, and would definitely recommend that al andalus visits. ps vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are also available.
Attentive staff found us a table during a very busy afternoon when we didn't have a reservation. A very good selection of tapas, with many very tasty vegan options. Docking a star for a lack of a good vegan desert option, but I'd still come back here in the future.
standard high food standards. the service was very bad, however, had to hunt waitress to take orders for drinks, net and desert. still one of the favorite places, but leave this time through the service and terrible table at the back door, which was icy.

a beautiful evening with great food, excellent wine and careful service. eat of a consistently high quality and a restaurant that I would recommend whether it is a fast lunch, cozy dinner or at night with friends.
Really loved this place. Lovely court yard out the back of the restaurant. Staff were very nice. The choice of food was great and it was all really tasty. Would certainly recommend.
excellent eating. skip the spade with serrano. the bun, date with blue cheese, and kartoffeln bravas were all excellent. in any case, dinner was absolutely the best!
friendly place. the sangria is pretty good. the recommendations will be the garnels and suppe. the remaining food could have been better. not too expensive.

authentic kitchen, flamenco dancers in the atmosphere. as if we were in Spanish, we forgot how cold it was outside.
