This restaurant, although small and not widely recognized, was a delightful surprise. The cozy atmosphere and charming decor made for a welcoming experience, while the friendly and attentive staff added to the overall positive impression. The highlight of the visit, however, was the outstanding food. The haloumi and Turkish bread entrée was delicious, and the Bettnajan (grilled eggplant) main dish was also large and flavorful ($14). The chicken tikka was simply divine, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the generous portion of the Al Sahara special. Overall, this restaurant offers great value for the quality of food and service, and I highly recommend paying it a visit.
The service here has always been outstanding, and when you walk in to some lovely atmospheric Arabic music, you know you are going to be in for a good time. The chicken skishkebabs are to die for, and the coffee is incredible. These guys have always been incredibly accomodating to guests, listen carefully and are great. They love children and go the extra mile to keep them and mum and dad happy. What an amazing experience. Been there five times now, will be coming back!!!!
Not well known small place next to a motel on the service road next to the motorway in Slacks Creek but worth a visit if you enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine. Their meals are eclectic and combine dishes from different countries, including Iraqi, Turkish, Lebanese, Moroccan.We enjoyed the Lamb Shank Stew and the marinated grilled chicken breast as well as a tasty Sambousa entry. I recommend this place for their richly flavoured dishes. They do take-aways as well.
My partner and I went to dine at this restaurant recently. We started off with some dips and haloumi served with bread. For my main course, I ordered the Al Sahara chicken, which was incredibly tender and came with a delicious sauce. The decor of the restaurant was lovely and the staff were extremely friendly. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! My husband, a couple of friends, and I went there for the first time last night. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. I had never heard of this place until this week, so if you're a local, be sure to add this restaurant to your list of go-to places.
Great food and atmosphere. We had a variety of starters and lamb and chicken for main meals and we would recommend all. Well presented meals and priced well. The staff were very friendly. The restaurant has a great middle eastern atmosphere. wasn't sure what to expect but very glad that we went.
Quiet restaurant in an obscure location. I knew it was there from driving in the area so often. Service excellent. Not a massive choice on the menu but that suits me. Food was delicious and not too long to wait. Highly recommended
