We ate here last night, my boyfriend got the herbivore pizza and I ate the gnocchi. The gnocchi was the best I’ve ever eaten it was so soft and fluffy. I will say though, the dish would probably be better with just gnocchi sauce I think the pork meatballs didn’t go well with it. We also got shoestring fries on the side, and had way too much food. We had a great experience here but I will say, for the sake of those who really value service this place doesn’t do meal checks, and servers don’t really talk to you unless you’re ordering or being asked to pay. The live music, performed by a two-piece band, was described by our musically-inclined daughter as "rather poor karaoke,” but they seemed to be giving it their all. We decided to wait for the crowd to thin out, eating a bit later than usual. For our meal, we chose some indulgent dishes: two orders of buffalo wings (one with mango and habanero and the other with Texan BBQ) and a plate of sweet potato wedges. The wings were indeed hot and spicy as promised, and the sweet potato wedges were some of the best I’ve ever tasted—crispy, almost beer-battered, and served with a light aioli. Wow, we all wanted more!
A few months ago, I visited Sirromet Winery with my partner for a late lunch. We tried the Local Bug Sandwich and the Wagyu Beef Burger, both of which were delicious and generously portioned, accompanied by crispy chips. The food was well-prepared, though we did experience a long wait for it. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was casual. Drinks are purchased separately at the bar. While the prices are on the higher side, they are typical for a winery setting. Overall, it’s a decent lunch choice while enjoying the surroundings of Sirromet Winery.
We usually eat at restaurant lureens when we come to Sirromet but today decided to try the more casual Tuscan Terrace. <br/ <br/ Someone walked past with a dish that we couldn't go past. The wood fired roasted crackling pork hock. <br/ <br/ The crackling was crunchy tasty, with the softer parts underneath full of flavour. Delicious food and excellent service! You place your order in one area and pick it up in another, using a buzzer system to know when it's ready. We arrived early and managed to get a table near the playground, which was perfect. The food was fantastic; we had the special pork belly and barramundi, both of which were amazing. The kids' pizza was massive and could easily be shared between two children. I can't wait to return!
We booked the outside table. It was surrounded by trees, relaxed and calm atmosphere. We were there just around sunset time, and the colour of the scenery from the table was great and romantic. Service was excellent, staff were friendly and polite. Wine selection from Granite Belt were unique, very special and enjoyable. We loved the fresh and tasty menu, too! Definitely will come back again Thanks!
Generous portions with a rustic touch and a bottle of wine on the side, I have to say that lunch at Tuscan Terrace left a good impression for all of us (not to mention giving us all the prefect excuse to soak up some winter sun...
Great food, great ambience and kid friendly. Had the chicken parmigiana good portion and nice mix of flavours with the prosciutto and fresh veggies. Wood fired pizza was also excellent. Will come back and try other stuff here. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We had stuffed and crumbed olives, risotto arancini in rich tomato based sauce, yummy sourdough with dips crispy pork hock and they were all delicious! Nice ambience, great food, good wine perfect lazy Sunday. We'll be back!
