Alamo Drafthouse Cinema La Vista

Really great theatre. They have a strict (in principle, they serve food) no noise policy. I can't remember the last time I went to the movie where other girls were so quiet, it was magical! The servers will be silent?distract? You to give you your bill at the end and do a load call on orders, but it wasn't distracting from the movie and just a few seconds. Theatres are very beautiful and sound quality is excellent. I wish there was a switch to turn off those under table lights, but I can see why they don't. Seats are more beautiful than standard seats, but not as beautiful as modern deck chairs. Frontlines will definitely fight to look up. Very similar to Premium IMAX seats. Seats are close...

I sent this review to Alamo and they reacted or apologized. Now I'll share it with you all. My wife and I visited a movie in your theatre Sunday 8/7 at 8:15 (Thor). We arrived about 15 minutes early. We have never been to Alamo, the cashier gave us the course of service, popcorn and drinks etc. He told us to fill out a card, and a waiter would be in the theater to take our order. We filled out our order card and waited for a server. We waited about an hour from the moment we sat until a server came to us. (In the middle of the film). I love this theater simply for the food and drinks! I love that you can get what you want at your seat while watching the movie! The menu is a little pricey but it?s so worth it to me than going to a regular theater because the quality of food is better and if you are over the age of 21 the alcoholic beverages are a bonus! Instead of spending two hours watching a movie at home with my toddler interrupting and asking for bubble guppies, I can leave him with his dad and go to the Alamo to watch a movie with a margarita in one hand and cookies in my other!

Really fun place for date night and even with the family. Seeing the old commercials brought back so many memories. So that was a plus. I would give 5 stars but the minus star is because when ordering food during the show most of it comes to you cold. The drinks were good even the alcoholic ones. But the good meh . But refills took forever. And twice we have been here and food takes a decent amount of time to come back to us cold. But other than that the movies are great and the seats all good and comfy. Would definitely recommend!
