This is a nice little place serving good food. There are some nice wines too. Staff are friendly. But no staff wear any PPE, there is no distancing between restaurant tables and when we ate there, they seated another group right beside us. There are...pornographic pictures of women in both of the toilets, the staff are clearly uncomfortable about that and it is the reason for the low rating. Enough to put anyone off their food
Great location, really friendly bar staff and excellent food should have added up to a very enjoyable afternoon and it nearly did, except why the pervy pictures in both sets of loos? Probably wouldn't have passed muster in a classy winebar in Luton and certainly decades past sell-by date in London. Not ironic, not funny, just a bit creepy. Get up to speed please not all your customers are leery old men.

I came in and ordered a small french rose. It was the end of the bottle and looked tiny. It tasted weird and watery, I asked for a change. The bar lady gave me a house rose telling me the Provence rose was finished. It...was awful but strangely times the size of the previous one. Then I saw another bar tender open a bottle of Provence rose for another customer. It was an odd experience.
Searching for your local you go through a myriad of options in London. Then one comes along that grows on you. Inside (weird but quirky) outside (roomy with backyard feel and importantly good beer selection, especially Leffe on tap. Then you eat and the food...is good. Very good.
I used to live in the area and the Albert Arms was my favourite local pub. I was recently back in the area and popped in for a drink on a Saturday afternoon. The pub is in a great location, has friendly staff and a...nice chilled atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!
Booked a table, arrived and the places was really busy. Sadly there was no chicken or lamb left so we all had the beef, which was ok! Decent deserts, good pints and the poor staff were rushed off their feet. Pretty decent, we enjoyed it.

Had a business lunch pre-lockdown with of us. Could not fault anything, Darren, Leigh and the team were fabulous and the food service was fantastic! Highly recommend to everybody.
