Is there a better cafe in Stortford than Alberts ? I don’t think so. The food is prepared at a far higher standard than many restaurants in the town I could name. Even a simple toastie is on a different level. No dry lettuce and tired cut tomato sides here either. Salads generously garnished with dressing. These people know the art of running a proper cafe.
beautiful friendly staff and owners, great fresh food with a lot of choice, delicious milkshakes. I have today reserved a table for the birthday dinner of my mother and a beautiful surprise of a piece of cake with a candle given to my mother, many thanks that it was a beautiful thought. would recommend this beautiful place x

A lovely little coffee shop. Tasty food and very friendly staff. Every time I've eaten there, I've had to tell family and friends how good the food was. I can't keep the visits a secret!
A most excellent breakfast , poached eggs with avocado and smoked salmon , prepared the order , whist I had a short wait . The Brown Toast was good too. Well recommended
Alberts is a lovely place to meet friends for tea/coffee, the food and hospitality is great, definitely recommend it.
