We visited this restaurant shortly after it opened a few years ago and had an amazing experience. However, on our most recent visit, we were disappointed. The halibut was overcooked and rubbery, and the monkfish was unexpectedly breaded and fried. The halibut ceviche lacked flavor and the pickled vegetables were mostly radishes with only a few pieces of carrots and bell pepper. Our meal, without wine, cost almost $200 and we were expecting higher quality for the price. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant.
Love Alcove. Usually come here before a show at the Garden. We had a table booked outside and they kindly called. To say it may be cold and we could move indoors. Awesome! Arrived early and watched the place ramp up into high gear. Functioned like a well oiled machine. We had an awesome waiter who was fun and efficient. Great eats and drinks. Props on the cosmos and the Huber bubbly. Thank you!
I was informed that cake cutting would be complimentary, so I decided to have them cut the cake for me. However, when I received the bill, I was charged $30 for it. The manager then told me it was because I did not choose one of their desserts. I just feel like I was misled.
I may have had a few drinks, but I had a great time at this restaurant. The staff worked well together, the service was excellent, and the food was high quality. I went in with low expectations and left very satisfied.

Great food, great service, this is our second time coming and would come again. We sat at a high top table near the bar so it was loud. If that is a concern I recommend asking for a table farther away.
Pretty Good experience before a concert at TD Garden. One suggestion would be to include a few more sandwich choices on the menu.
Best atmosphere in town if you ask me. Wanted to sit on the patio, but too windy that night. Will be back.......
Wait staff was attentive. Vibe was fun. Great cocktails. Interesting wines. Good food, small but varied menu
