This is my second time coming to Alex's GARDENS. The first time it was for my wife's birthday. My second time was very disappointing. We made a reservation and we got there a little early. The hostess checked our reservation and seated my wife and I in an extremely small table even though there were other empty booths and tables in the place that were larger. We asked if we could be moved, but the hostess refused. Rather than make a seen, we tried to make the best of it. The table was so small that we could only order one dish at a time because of the limited space on the table. Everything and everyone was great!! Eggplant parm was delicious. Thinly sliced on layers, sauce was delicious, cheese on top was lightly browned. Veal parm was delicious with cheese lightly browned. Salad green beans very good. We had a warm chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream--delish! Our waitress, Simone was excellent!! We will be back!! Having lived in Southeast FL for most of my life, restaurants don't stay in business, if they can't meet the culinary tastes and demands of those who live and vacation there.
Our server was terrific, she was very talkative and knowledgable ... and Victor always makes our dining experience special. It was our daughters 18th birthday and a delicious birthday dessert showed up at our table as a surprise was super thoughtful and the our dinners (as always) were superb! Our favorite spot!
Great old school restaurant that never fails. I love the homey feeling and appreciate the classic food. I'm amazed that they still offer salad or soup with the entree. That's so rare these days! My clams and pasta was loaded with clams. And my boyfriend's fish was amazing! Great place to go.

The server was very nice, and very attentive. Almost too attentive. It was nice for her to come over to the table, but she did so almost too often. The food was mediocre. It was good, but nothing special. The staff was all very nice.
Caesar (Martin) was an absolute fantastic server... and the food was outstanding!! It was my first time there; a friend I were celebrating our birthdays... can't wait to be back to try more things on the menu!!!

Great old fashioned red table cloth Italian place. Service was amazing as was the calamari Pizza isn’t destination worthy, but doesn’t disappoint at all

Excellent service. Best pizza crust...thin and very crispy. All of the dishes that we have tried have been delicious.
Love this place. Low key, great drinks and amazing food.
