Excellent experience. We were greeted by, I'm assuming, the owner. He sat us down and advised us of today's special, recommendations and desserts. We ordered the lasagna and the eggplant parmigiana. Lasagna was a little salty for me, but that's subjective. Eggplant however was excellent. Loved the atmosphere- I felt like I wasn't in Torrance when inside the restaurant, much less California. I also noticed what seemed to be regulars of Aliotta, as the owner greeted them by name; always a good sign. The only thing I think that would make the experience stellar is if there was some live music! Some Jazz Standards would've been superb. Overall a fantastic experience, will be returning. Thank you
Food, service and ambiance were all excellent! The focaccia bread was a nice start to the meal. I had the Linguine Pesca Mare but I changed the sauce to a white wine sauce that was delicious. The plate was full of seafood, and enough pasta for one serving no leftovers from this dish. My wife had the Paccheri Mare which she also liked very much. Others in our group had the Canneloni Emiliana and the Lasagna which were all well received. The reason for the 4, not 5 stars, was that the price seemed a little high for the portion size.

First time trying this place everything here was very good everything we had I did liked very much my only comment would be that the linguine and clams needed a tad bit more garlic to mellow out the saltiness of the dish, but overall I really enjoyed this Italian restaurant.

Used to like this place why I didn't rate it lower. Maybe it was a bad night, or there is a new chef. Meatball appetizer was not as good , the same, and my wife and son had mushy pasta....On a weekend night.

The Italian experience you want to enjoy this is the place to go. Very good ambiance, the food is very fresh and tasty, the staff is very professional and friendly and the service is great!
