I visited this restaurant for the second time on Valentine's Day. The service was slow, the food was barely warm and soggy. Despite the disappointing experience, I decided to give it another chance. However, on my second visit when it was not busy, the portions were smaller and the ramen was still not good. Additionally, I found it to be more expensive compared to other ramen places nearby. The only positive aspect of this restaurant is the beautiful decor.
It's been a while since we had dinner at Alkline. They are still excellent in their foods in their drinks in their cs in their ambiance n most importantly having their customers a pleasurable dining experience! It's casual but elegant ! Appetizers Shrimp Toast Asian Sticky Wings5/10. Very good, but the PRICE is not.6 good wings for $16, Yuck.The ramen. Specifically tonkotsu ramen, for $15 it’s pretty disappointing. Very salty. 5/10Scenery. Not your traditional ramen spot. 5/10. There’s a lot of potential.The pricing definitely knocks down a point.Not a spot I would recommended for my ramen people.4/10 rating
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The rabenfleck dish was delicious and reminiscent of ramen in Japan. The tonkotsu ramen was excellent and very satisfying. The dinuguan nachos were spot on and I really enjoyed them. The Asian sticky wings were also delicious. The downside was the high prices for the 1.5 ounce Japanese whisky and select drinks.
