I had such an amazing experience! Every time I’m in Sacramento this is my new go to. The staff is kind and attentive and it starts with the hostess opening the door; Jessica was not only helpful in getting me settled at my table and feeling comfortable with the restaurants’ atmosphere.My server Danielle was a great conversationalist and gave amazing recommendations on what to eat- and THE FOOD, never have I seen such beautifully decorated food- BUT ALSO DELICIOUS!Chef Lee outdid himself. Truly.I can’t wait to go back and try everything else I didn’t try the first time.The bartenders name that started with a B- the drinks were fun and went great with my meal
My friend’s husband made reservations to celebrate my friend’s 40th birthday and wasn’t informed that they had a policy against kids under 12. We arrived along with their 3 month old baby. Instead of telling us when we arrived, we were seated at the table, given menus, and then bluntly informed that the restaurant might charge us for a 3 course, 4 course, or 5 course meal for the infant (who is currently nursing) and that it would be up to the manager’s discretion. Policies like this are perhaps reasonable, but why not just tell us before seating us, rather than leaving it up in the air. We felt extremely unwelcome and chose to take our money elsewhere.
Great restaurant to have in town without having to go to Napa Valley. Presentation and bold flavours of the food for the evening along with the recommended wine flight was exceptional. We sat outdoors in a cold evening, but oddly enough the temperature in the dining area was just right allowing enjoyment of the experience. It's a taste restaurant but don't let that fool you. The 3 course meal would've been suffice, but we had to go for the 4 course and left very full. Recommended to those who love, understand, and crave flavours. Enjoy!
we were there for our jubilee and had a great time. Eating was delicious and service very attentive ( server and sommelier were both great.) they know that the cook knows what he does when they order lamb, that tastes like tenderloin: we went with the four cursor, I accompanied it with the wine tasting menu, my wife (pregnant virgin) went with. The service and wine selection were excellent. So we’re the oysters. The food was presented well but some dishes didn’t have the complexity I’d expect from a restaurant at this price point. We had the five course tasting menu for two and a bottle of wine. The check was close to $500.
visited to celebrate the birthday of a friend. excellent service and eating provided and accommodations were made for vegetarian guests on the specified menu options. the beet salad and the scallops were my favorite!
came here to celebrate my friend's birthday and we were very happy. steven was our server and he was great! would definitely recommend this place for a special occasion. can't wait to come back!
