Alma Nostra 'Our soul ' was located not far from our hotel in Segovia so we ventured there for dinner at about 8.30. The front bar was just heaving with patrons enjoying drinks and tapas. We literally had to push our way through the crowd to reach the small dining room at the back of the premises. There were only four tables, though one a large one. Found there was not huge amount of English spoken here, thought the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and as helpful as they could be with a menu only in Spanish and our phrasebook back at the hotel . Alma Nostra, a five-minute walk up Calle de San Francisco from the Aqueduct of Segovia, was a nice spot for lunch after a morning of sightseeing: the Alcazar de Segovia, then a walk downhill through town to the aqueduct. We had the menu del dia menu of the day , a great value throughout Spain but especially good here on this day. As I write two months later, I don 't remember what we had for the very good, and very filling, first or second courses with beer or wine , but I do remember an incredible dessert, so good that I photographed it! There were many people in a segovia, and the only place we found to eat something was in a nostra soul. That's why we thank you for the visit. the pear also finds a place where cod is spectacular and attention was amazing. It is not a tourist site since we asked for chochinillo and did not, but we did not care because we ate great. Wow amazing croquetones The Francesinha was huge. Enough for two people. The waiter was courteous and friendly and helpful. He told us the serves were huge so we didn’t over order. Highly recommended
