What a lovely spot to stop on the TMB hike. This place was one of a very few that delivered the authenticity and beauty that I imagined before we started our TMB trek. The modern world so often disappoints, but this place was like stepping into a dream... it impossibly bucolic, quaint, authentic, genuine, and yet it never becomes a pastiche. The family running it is friendly and genuinely seem to love what they are doing. The two boys running the service were accommodating and enthusiastic in their service... the foods were tasty and made like your grandmother might have done 80 years ago... all in all, just a fantastic experience. We stopped here on the last day of our Tour du Mont Blanc hike from Trient to Champex Lac. It was a great stop for liquid refreshments (orange and apricot juice), to eat our lunch, use the WC and fill up with fresh water. Take a look inside before you leave to marvel at the compact and organized kitchen and few sleeping spaces overhead a masterpiece of dairy barn conversion. The only thing missing were a stack of job applications!
Eine prächtige Kulisse, wir werden es genießen, hier anzuhalten, um zu essen und zu trinken, inmitten des Viehs der Almwiesen und der Berge. Der einzige Nachteil sind die Preise für Getränke und Gerichte, etwas zu hoch.... 8€ für ein Bier ist übertrieben. Ansonsten lohnt sich der Umweg aufgrund der Kulisse auch für diejenigen, die ohne Konsumieren anhalten möchten, was ein erheblicher Vorteil bleibt.
Ein Ort auf der TMB-Route mit einer sehr schönen Aussicht. Wir bestellten einen Kaffee, der schlecht war - ein Teelöffel löslicher Kaffee mit Wasser und Milch - und einen Pfirsichkuchen, der trocken war und nur nach Frucht schmeckte. In dem Restaurant hängt ein riesiges christliches Kreuz an der Wand und für den Wanderer, der das Zelt, den Schlafsack und einen Großteil des Essens trägt, weil es viel Geld kostet, an diesen wundervollen Ort der Welt zu kommen, dürfen sie nicht neben den Badezimmern sitzen. Das alte Holz ist zumindest nicht besonders komfortabel.
Nach einem schweren Aufstieg von Champex war Bovine ein Anblick für die sauren Augen. Wir haben unser Mittagessen hier genossen. Die Omelette und Potato rosti waren beide lecker, obwohl das Brot war ein bisschen stale. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse war ausgezeichnet.
Lovely stop off on route to Trient (From Champex-Lac) with wonderful views overlooking the valley. Food was superb, enjoyed a rosti which was perhaps not the best food for hiking (sat a little heavy for me) but absolutely delicious and would have loved to have again!

Peach tart unglaublich; viele Kühe mit Glocken und dies sind die berühmten Kampfkühe! Toller Stopp nach einer langen Wanderung auf einem sehr steilen Hügel. Die Aussicht ist unglaublich und die Wanderung wert!
