Went for the birthday dinner tonight- I think this was my favorite meal in Hoboken since moving here. Ambiance was just wonderful. Food was 11/10. Everything was just so fresh. They make their own pasta dough there everynight- we got the short rib (cooked to perfection and just a really wonderful flavor profile), empanadas (Beef was incredible, spinach wasn't my favorite), chopped salad, brussels, spinach ravioli, salmon, pork chop, and garlic spinach. This was a thoughtful menu that focused on the best ingredients and flavors. Got 3 appetizers, 4 entrees, and 4 soft drinks for all under 200, cannot recommend this place enough.
Dinner was absolutely phenomenal! We had the empanada's which were delicious! My For entrees, we had the braised short ribs and gnocchi's mouth watering! The ambience was outstanding from the decor, to their set up, to the piano player! Top notch customer service for sure! Highly recommend. Also, kid friendly! We brought our baby and she loved every minute of it as well.
Very disappointed with the waitstaff. After taking our order, never returned to see if we needed our drinks replenished, or wanted to order anything else. Never asked if everything came out as ordered. Just not the same Amanda's I remember where the staff was right on top of making the customer feel glad we chose Amanda's. Not this time!
This restaurant is a landmark in Hoboken, it's been around since at least early 90s. I was excited to go back. However, it took a server 30 minutes to take our initial drink order. Then a long time for our dinner order. The food came out quickly was delicious. The was nice live music. However, I never did get my last beverage
The place doesn’t assert walks ins, cash only and it’s hard to get sitting. This would be ok If the food matched its reputation but it does ok, instead of great. Some dishes are better than others. Their main one the pork chop was dry when I ate it and I wasn’t a super fan of the service, but it could have been the day
Super trendy atmosphere. Greeted promptly upon arrival, felt very welcome. Christopher was very attentive. Service spot on. A little Problem with the refrigerator containing bottled beer. The beer was not cold, but Christopher rectified that with the second serving.
Probably the best restaurant I have eaten at in a long time. Empanadas are delicious! Menu is extensive and everything we ordered was outstanding. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Highly highly recommend!
From the moment we entered, we were greeted by the most adorable young lady. We had Chris as our server and he was great and always attentive to our needs. Our whole table enjoyed our appetizers, dinners and desserts
The service was terrific. We love the ambiance. The food is just fine. It's nothing special. I think their spinach raviolis are more flavorful than the gnocchi. The salmon is just okay.
