The ambience, staff and food flavors were great but the service was a bit rushed. The second we sat down an amuse bouche arrived without giving us a chance to settle in or give a few minutes to look over the menu. A pork chop that was ordered was dry, so it was appreciated that the staff were receptive to fix the issue. There were a lot of complimentary tastings that came from the kitchen, which were nice but unnecessary. If they focused on the main food and slowed the pace of service, my rating would be much higher. Overall, a lovely place to dine.
One of the finest dining experiences ever! From a warm welcome to impeccable service allowing us to set the pace, from the additional preludes and 2 other interludes (all tasty and complimentary), to an excellent Umbrian wine, to the astonishingly varied menu of numerous selections of primi e secondi and the exceptionally fine preparations… all for a reasonable prix fixe which included scrumptious dessert choices. The ambiance is refined and muted for conversation and sharing during a totally unforgettable night! Bravissimo!
We had a very nice meal here on Friday night. The food was generally very good and the ambience was also great. Service just slightly missed the mark as the waiter took over 20 minutes before taking our order, many other staff walked by but it seems the restaurant has very defined roles about who does what. Other than this though the service was great and the Maitre D was very welcoming. This is a great date night spot as it is romantic and old school whilst still delicious.
It’s the classic somewhat upscale NYC Italian dine spot. Great for intimate settings or large family-style meals. The prix fixe menu might lack in vegetarian options, but if you like meat, you’ll have plenty to choose from. Highly recommend! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Fantastic time! Reserved without having been before for a 10-person family/friend reunion. Lovely treatment by the restaurant staff, food was superb, and the mood/vibe was a perfect fit for the occasion.
This is our favorite Italian restaurant in New York. The only place we love to celebrate something special. We’re here at least three or four times a year and it never disappoints.
The food was outstanding. I had the lobster and shrimp appetizer and it was cooked with angel hair. I would highly recommend. They have the best field job I have ever had anywhere.

The prix fixe menu was perfect! Gnocchi with goat cheese totally amazing. We loved the ambiance, and it is now a favorite place for our work team to go for dinner.
