Amaro’s Table Downtown

My husband and I dropped by yesterday for a late lunch/happy hour. We had heard this restaurant had just opened and are always looking for good spots in downtown Vancouver. The happy hour menu covers a lot of ground with very reasonable prices. I ordered the Caesar salad and carnitas tacos. Both were excellent. The salad was the most authentic Caesar I've enjoyed in years and the tacos were filled with tasty shreds of adobo laced pork, cabbage slaw, and pickled onion with a delicious pico de gallo on the side. We came to town for my birthday and we were looking for a quick bite and what we got was so much more. The staff went out of their way to get us to our play on time as well as made us feel welcome and special. We ended up coming back after the show for dessert and drinks. Food was DELICIOUS. It was the best fried chicken I've ever had. I would recommend this restaurant over and over again. Thank you!

We’ve been excited to try Amaro’s. Happen to be downtown for Cruz n the Couve and got right in. A limited menu for the night but had great cocktails, and an excellent lite dinner! Will definitely return for the full menu options! Wonderful, knowledgeable staff and service!

Wonderful food, amazing cocktails, and a warm friendly atmosphere. This place can't be beat and even though they're new they have quickly become a top destination in Vancouver.

We really enjoyed everything we tried and the prices were very reasonable and the portion sizes great as well. Very good menu variety. Personable and attentive service.
