Amaro’s Table Downtown

My husband and I dropped by yesterday for a late lunch/happy hour. We had heard this restaurant had just opened and are always looking for good spots in downtown Vancouver. The happy hour menu covers a lot of ground with very reasonable prices. I ordered the Caesar salad and carnitas tacos. Both were excellent. The salad was the most authentic Caesar I've enjoyed in years and the tacos were filled with tasty shreds of adobo laced pork, cabbage slaw, and pickled onion with a delicious pico de gallo on the side. We have been coming here since you opened. We always brought our pom puppy. Never a problem. We went the other night and was told t/hat yes patio is open for dogs. A waitress came out I will not name her however, horrible server. She came up to us and said we couldn’t have the dogs? What, other dogs there. Our dogs were well behaved. I showed her our service dog papers, she said never mind I don’t need to see them. She left our table after about 15 minutes I went in to speak to the manager a man, and he was well whatever she she says goes!!! This place has only been open for about a week and we have already been multiple times! The happy hour can't be beat with the food selection, prices, and portion size. The cocktails are varied and refreshing, and there is a good beer selection to choose from. The atmosphere is fresh, inviting and we always leave happy with full stomachs. I can't wait to work my way through the rest of the menu. We have had great service every time we have been here. I really just can't say enough good things. As a downtown Vancouver resident, we are excited to have Amaro's Table in the neighborhood.

We came to town for my birthday and we were looking for a quick bite and what we got was so much more. The staff went out of their way to get us to our play on time as well as made us feel welcome and special. We ended up coming back after the show for dessert and drinks. Food was DELICIOUS. It was the best fried chicken I've ever had. I would recommend this restaurant over and over again. Thank you!

The menu is culturally diverse and all American at the same time. I’ve sampled a fair bit of the menu, and it was all perfect. The cocktails are deliciously evil, and the service was impeccable. The atmosphere is sophisticated and casual. Great place for a romantic dinner. And don’t leave until you’ve eaten the ricotta doughnuts.

Had dinner there Friday the 13th, their first Friday open. The food was delicious and the staff couldn't have been more attentive and efficient. Husband said the Fish N Chips was the best he's had in Vancouver. The doughnuts were fabulous a perfect sharing desert for our party of four. We'll be back for sure.

Consistently delicious food. Fresh, cooked and flavored beautifully. Perfectly crafted cocktails, great service and lovely setting. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu!

Second time here at this location for happy hour, and it didn't disappoint. I left a happy customer and most definitely will be back. 10/10 for service, food, and cleanliness.

My wife and I have gone twice and I must say best food ever! I felt bad ordering just a burger but my god, best burger I've ever had! great prices too!
