My husband and I enjoyed a nice meal at Patras Gyros. Though it was a weird time to eat (between 2-3pm) there were lots of people picking up takeout orders. We chose to eat at one of their 4 little tables. It's not fancy-you walk up to the counter and order. Food is all disposable, down to the plastic cutlery, even for dining in. We tried the lentil soup to start with, which was nicely spiced. My husband ordered the lamb gyros platter, which he liked. The food at this restaurant was excellent! My husband enjoyed his gyros and I loved the perfectly charbroiled chicken kabobs. The rice and salad that came with my meal were delicious, especially with the white garlic sauce. I didn't communicate well that I needed a gluten-free meal, but I tried to choose items that I thought wouldn't have any wheat ingredients. I had some mild reactions, but thankfully had my medication with me and was still able to enjoy my meal, despite pita bread being added when I had requested none. Food was good, first time here so I didn 't get a variety. I had the gyro plate (lamb) which was good. Salad was very good, but only got 2 small triangles of the bread. I wish there had been more of that. But overall it was good. I will go back. I just changed my star ratings to 4 across the board. I didn 't see the words when you click on the stars, as to what each star represents. I stated that it was good, which 4 stars say "it was good. "Sorry for the 'ok ' rating.I wish that I had gotten more of the bread but I only got 2 little tiny triangles with the plate. Had I gotten at least 4 pieces, it would have been 5 stars.
This restaurant is top-notch. The fries are generously topped with deliciously soft feta cheese. The rice in the chicken gyro platter is aromatic and rich, and the chicken and lamb are consistently flavorful. The spicy red sauce is incredibly tasty, and the white garlic sauce is so good it should be bottled and sold. To-go orders are always ready in under ten minutes. Despite its small size, this place makes up for it with their delicious food. We tried the traditional gyro with tzatziki sauce and another one with white garlic sauce. The food made me feel grounded in my Root Chakra and as I ate, I could feel the energy slowly moving up to my Throat Chakra. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.
The food at this restaurant is incredible, with extremely fresh ingredients and traditional flavors. The portions are generous and the service is excellent, with a lot of attention to detail for a small establishment. I will definitely be returning.
This is our go-to place for gyros! It's one of those rare tight-knit family-run places that remember your order, use fresh ingredients, and have your delicious order hot and ready to go in minutes!! We love and highly recommend them to everyone!
