It is a small tapas bar and a restaurant outside the main tourist area of the Saintes-Marie-de-la-Mer that we found by chance while we were looking for a place that was not touristic. we love the local when we travel. the tapas menu is excellent and very suitable for shared grazing. Strawberry soup was divine. the tempura mussels made the soup flow very close. the eggplant cooked with honey was... well, delicious. It wasn't a diet-watcher lunch, but who goes to the camargue (or anywhere in france) to monitor its diet? with a solid recommendation from the new owners of our hotel, the arcades, my wife and me and the couple we travelled with went to dinner with tapas atmosphere. At the end of the dinner, we were surprised by two things. First of all, delicious food - I can still evoke a remembrance of the most pleasant of their honey berenjenas, among many other salty delights. Secondly, our surprise at the modest bill we had to pay for such a good dinner. It's a very special place.
we came here because the tapas restaurant we tried and loved the previous year - the albatros - changed owner and really deteriorated. I'm so happy that we found ourselves in tapas atmosphere, the food was amazing (we basically tasted all the tapas from the menu during the two visits we made), the bloodria really good and the very nice service. we have dinner because of the good note and we can fully confirm it. very friendly staff, excellent and fresh cooked dishes. a place to go and that is worth it.
