oh the stafford, what a hotel you are. I am not sure what it is, but there is something about “old London” that the new and modern hotels never seem to replicate. these old timers evoke raffinesse, have so much history and so effortlessly impress – they will find nothing in london like the stafford and more important, the american bar. a hidden gem embedded in the luxurious opposite of st james with its own terrace, charm and some of the best classic cocktails in london.
we loved our cocktails and the fantastic service and the atmosphere in the american bar. our server, the hostess and all we talked with were amazing and we loved how friendly everyone was. the cocktails were fantastic and I was absolutely thrilled that they could make me a gimlet, as I tried to find that everywhere! also the atmosphere outside was stunning and we loved the beautiful flowers and decor in their terrace. we will definitely return!
I am giving this restaurant 2 stars because for the second time I made a reservation through the app, but when I arrived, there was no table reserved for me. Despite this, I was able to get a table anyways. The food was perfect as always, but it was just annoying to deal with this issue again.

Very nice restaurant with beautiful garden. Service was also excellent. The food was very delicious especially the Scott's eggs and of course the rest . I would recommend this place as it is a hidden paradise in central london.
I wouldn’t recommend for dining. They sat 7 people at 2 small tables for lunch. Wouldn’t move a chair over for us when restaurant was empty and made one of us sit on poof. Wasn’t comfortable. Too bad because food was good.
This is a fantastic small bar with a lot of personality. The staff is amazing, the food is delicious, and the cocktails are top-notch. What more could you ask for!

We have another booking so it is needless to say that overall we like it very much. Especially the Scott’s Eggs. Everything is perfect for us.
