I visited this restaurant for breakfast while on a family tour of NYC. We actually ended up having breakfast there twice because the oatmeal and pastries were delicious. However, during our second visit, we were disappointed with the service. The staff seemed annoyed and quite unfriendly. We waited 15 minutes for a cappuccino, which wasn’t a huge issue, but the barista appeared irritated when we politely mentioned that it still hadn’t arrived.
I was excited to try out their scone since a lot of articles mentioned about it. However, it?s more like a flaky biscuit. But on the other hand, their croissant was delicious, and I definitely want to recommend their fennel raisin bread! The taste is just amazing and unique, plus, good texture! (Crispy and soft simultaneously. Last, the olive oil cake that the staff recommended to me was also good if you want something not that sweet.
The cupcakes looks so good, but looks can be deceiving. The devil's food chocolate silk cupcakes was dry and the frosting was dripping. I was so happy I had a drink to wash it down. The sourdough chocolate chip twist was okay as well, just a bread stick with chocolate chips. The total for two cupcakes and the breadstick was $9.75. There are better bakeries in the area that are worth the money.
Great little place. I accidentally came across this bakery. Glad I did. I had the cinnamon bun, breakfast sandwich and quiche. All tasted great. Staff were helpful and kind. A real treasure. The coffee quality is perfect. The temperature, structure and taste, is just perfect. Tried a few times different vegetarian quiches and it?s tasty! Also the prices are affordable. A good coffee and quiche around $12. One thing is missing: cleaning the tables. Other than that, a must visit.
haven't been back here ever since pre covid. desserts as I remember were always delicious and the cookies I got today didn't disappoint (chocolate chip and double chocolate) haven't tried the different kinds of bread for which they are known for..maybe I should go before a meal?
My top pick for the best black and white cake I've ever had. Honestly, I've yet to find anything on their menu that I don't absolutely love. The staff is friendly and attentive, and if you happen to come close to closing time, they often give you a little extra if they have it.
The coffee is good, the bagels are delicious, and the staff is welcoming. It's a cozy spot perfect for relaxing. The only downside is the limited space inside, which might mean you'll have to grab your breakfast to go. I will definitely return! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
