More of a pick up spot than dining in but there are some tables if you wish to sit down and eat. Fast, friendly service.Had the crab rangoons, orange chicken and red curry. Crab rangoons come with 2 large pieces packed with cream cheese filling. Orange chicken was crisp and slightly sweet, none of that sickly syrupy taste. Red curry was pretty good as well. We asked for medium spicy, it had a kick of hotness without being overpowering. Curry’s flavor was there in terms of having depth, my only recommendation would be to add more varieties of fresh veggies to the curry. Overall we enjoyed our dinner and would go back.
The last time I ate here I wasn't very impressed (in 2020) but this time wowza. The food is delicious and the tofu is amazing. Delightful flavors and spice levels are perfect for me (I have other favorite Thai places which are not very spicy at all). 5 stars and I can't wait to go back. Only downside is they're more setup for takeout than dine in, so I wouldn't go there for the atmosphere/ambianceVegetarian options: As with any Thai place, there are plenty of vegetarian options. Would recommend their tofu even if you like meat, it's heavenly.
First time trying this place after hearing great things. My apps were fine and very enjoyable. How ever my chicken meals were strange. The outside of the chicken itself, not the breading, was very hard, and the inside was dry. It was like there was an outer layer of chicken jerky on each piece. Did I get old chicken or something? Maybe that's how it's supposed to be? I'm not sure, but from my stand point, the chicken was barely edible for the price I paid. Hopefully it is better in the future.
Just realized I've never left a review. Haven't had a meal here in a few weeks but this place is hands down my favorite Thai place in the detroit/metro detroit area. Absolutely phenomenal food and they always give great portion sizes(atleast in take out, I've never dined in). I always get the green curry , pad thai, crab Rangoon for the gf and a bunch of spring rolls. Can't recommend them enough! The crispy wontons were good but the Basil Rice is extremely bland. All I could taste was oil and pepper. The portion is pretty big which is great but unfortunately I won't be eating this due to the complete lack of flavor. I live in Sterling Heights but I have not found a Thai restaurant in the area I like. I will continue to drive to Southfield for good Thai food. Service: Take out
This was our go-to spot for Tai that last couple of years, but we will now never be back. We just got some carryout and my wife's food had dozens of fruit flies in it. Finding one is understandable, it happens. But Amy's clearly has a sanitary problem. Never had something so disgusting from a restaurant before.Food: 1/5
I had the Pad Thai curry. Forgot to take a pic but that and the egg roll was delicious. So was the spring roll but personally enjoyed the egg roll more. With pork and a great balance of garlic, all the food was amazing. Even the next day reheated.
