We were away for a couple of days and found the review of this restaurant, so we thought we would give it a try. It was closed on the Tuesday, so we thought we would give it a try Wednesday. Got there, got seated, was informed it was BYO so hubby nipped next door to get a bottle, while I had a diet coke. On his return from the shop we were informed that they had run out of gravy and it would be an hour until the next batch was ready. Whilst the waiter was apologetic and didn't charge me for my coke we were very disappointed that they hadn't made us aware of this before we sat down. During the COVID era, we were recommended this restaurant, and it truly lived up to the hype—it was incredibly delicious and undoubtedly the best Indian food around. Unfortunately, I have to say that things have significantly changed recently. The quality of the food and the service have both declined, and in our last three orders, items were forgotten, and we received cold and burnt dishes. It’s disappointing to write this because it has the potential to be so great. Our most recent order was supposed to arrive within an hour but ended up taking two, even after we called to check on it. I’m really sad to say this, but I feel we've given them enough chances now.
We used to really enjoy ordering from here . It was our favourite . But the last few times have been sh*te ! Your probably thinking , why order again if your not happy but we thought we’d just give them a chance . Things can’t be perfect all the time . The last two times , they’ve forgotten at least two items . And things were burnt . The 3rd time , they told us an hour wait , we was still sat waiting an hour and half later . When it arrived it was so greasy and just not to its usual standard . It was cold . And soggy chips and naan bread . So disappointed, like i say it used to be our favourite but now it’s put us off . Such a shame !
our of us visited the restaurant for the firsttime Sat Evening, booked for 7:30.Didnt realise it was BYO alcohol but popped next door for a carry out,problem solved, Had popadoms and the pickle tray with extra picles supplied when requested followed by four starters and four mains, all the dishes were excellent the service friendly and prompt. We visit Indian restaraunts weekly and have done for the last 40 years this one is as good as it gets. The restaraunt style is casual and relaxed and superb value, just £63 for the four of us. This was a take-away order. Not the best food. Way too much salt which overpowers the flavours of Indian spices, which there is a distinct lack of anyway. Food arrive a little late, about 20 mins, which is no big deal. Three mains ordered, two with rice and one with naan. Naan arrived but no rice. On trying to contact restaurant phone engaged, understand that as they are probably busy, it is a weekend night, but when eventually did ring no one answered and I was cut off. Will not order again.
Had a chicken Bhuna and a chicken Korma, Keema naan, pilau rice, and onion bahjis. This restaurant was amazing before Covid-19 and now are tuning out amazing takeaway whilst the lockdown is on. He advised me that today they'd had 60 orders by 6:30pm, and you couldn't tell the difference. Same smiley talkative staff, same to die for food!!! A little gem hidden away in the small village of Holmewood...you will not be disappointed!!!
This is an outstanding restaurant and takeaway. My favorite dishes are the tandoori meats, which pair well with any meal. I highly recommend the Chicken Tandoori Balti. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. They consistently strive to ensure a great experience and have never let me down. I always enjoy a fantastic meal here. Thank you!

Last time I ordered a take away it was so greasy it was inedible. Has things changed? If not, it's worth avoiding at all costs
