I haven't been back since 2020 and so much has changed!! the starters were my favourite and their Bandito Pinot Noir was a hit. We sat outside and the weather was perfect but forgot how loud prospect road can be sometimes. We really enjoyed the stracciatella and peach salad, the pappardelle was a let down which is so sad because it looked fab on teh gram. a-lot of the pappardelle were stuck together so we were eating layers of pasta and there was a little too much lemon juice. The customer service was great but felt a little pushed at times for main to come. But overall, i am always keen to go back as their pizza is always good!!
We hadn't visited Anchovy Bandit since its opening, but we had fond memories of the food, so after watching a movie at Palace Nova Prospect, we decided to have dinner there. The staff were fantastic—despite it being quite busy, they greeted us with smiles and provided prompt service. The food was excellent! We sampled several appetizers and a pasta dish, although we didn't try any of the pizzas this time (they looked delicious, so I’m sure we’ll return to give one a shot!). They also offered a great selection of wines by the glass, which was very convenient.
Covid times: only doing outdoor dining and takeaway food we can still eat out safely . Dinner at @anchovybanditbar been meaning to come here for ages, and we are very glad we made it! The food was amazing, and the service was great too. . Blue Swimmer Crab: crème fraîche, roe, toast. Wow this snack dish was delicious! The roast was soooooo good
the food, the drinks and the service were fantastic on Saturday night! wait staff were so friendly without being in their face. also barman was more than happy to improvise a French martini for us, although she did not get 1 and it was brilliant. eat fresh, delicious and excellent quality. You know when a meal is so simple yet so inspiring that it makes you want to rush home and try to recreate it? This is that place! They manage to make pickled squash and fennel taste absolutely incredible! I highly recommend the "Feed Me" banquet. I can’t wait to go back!
Anchovy is always a pleasant dining experiencing with consistently good food and friendly service. Always book a table as the place is busy! Apart from awesome pizza, anchovy pumps out a mean pasta! I’m happy with the incredible bread and salumi for starters so good!
Their cocktails are absolutely incredible! I must also mention that I’ve rarely encountered such amazing and dedicated waitstaff. The two girls who served us yesterday were fantastic!
