Love ANFE, don't expect any fancy decor, it's kind of like a big community hall that you stumble into with tables and chairs set up. You order from a sheet of paper that you tick what meal you like and you bring that up to the cashier to pay.
I got a recommendation for this place from a little old Sicilian lady, she believed that it was the most authentic Sicilian food you could get in Brisbane. So happy that I came here, I have been here at least a good 5 times and never leave disappointed. I always get bread and olive oil with chilli to start off with, not sure what olive oil they use but it tastes so good. Never am a big fan dipping bread in oil but this is just sensational.

Authentic and delicious Italian food - a great find!We were lucky enough to go to ANFE last night when they were having one of their monthly regional theme nights. The venue is nothing special - just a community centre located in the commercial area of Newstead/New Farm but the food is fantastic and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. When we arrived we spent 10 minutes talking to the Club secretary, Signor Con Ottobrandi, who told us how to make prosciutto and his favourite items on the menu. The food was wonderful. We tried several items from the special menu and a couple of items from the regular menu and it was all delicious and well priced! We will definitely be coming back!
a mini birthday party for a friend in group of four in this Italian club. Although we are not member, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. the antipstao misto for two and a focaccia all inherited to share for entree and netten of the fish of the day, steak of the day, grigliata mista di carne (mixed grilled) tortelloni porcini tortellini with mushroom ricotta. wagyu was perfectly made med-rare and tastefully and the barramundi was grilled with golden brown color on the top and juice texture we were so full that we decided to leave the taste of dessert next time. overall it was a decent experience.

I decided a rainy evening was perfect for some cozy pasta eating and opted for a few dishes via uber eats. I wasn't disappointed, the pasta was absolutely delicious, the herb pizza bread hit the spot. The pasta itself was perfectly cooked, but the highlight was the sauces. They were smashing of flavour and were that amazing consistency where the spaghetti/penne is perfectly coated, and not heavy or oily. Just a wonderful balance. Bellissimo!
If you're looking for authentic food and a place you can occasionally hear the chefs shouting at each other in Italian in the kitchen this is for you. No pretentious white table cloth service just friendly staff and amazing food. Don't let the quirky club style venue put you off, the food is made to satisfy the nonas and papas and it doesn't disappoint. Well priced and delicious, will be back.
I love the genuine Italian Food cooked by Italian Chefs. I love going here with family. Last Sunday night ,I had home made spaghetti, in a carbonara style, magniicient. I recommend the old fashioned homely club to all , especially families. Their calamari is one...of the best I have had. Wyandra Street Newstead.
I was charged $27 for a seafood ravioli pasta, and it smells old red and went away. the pasta itself was uncooked, the table next to us had a burned pizza and sadly wait for the age groups for the meal. tastes embarrassing, the personal was friendly, but will not return!

very high quality meal. the service was also so friendly. even if it is hosted in a club instead of a restaurant, eating is better than many beautiful Italian restaurants that I was. we really enjoyed our dinner here.
beautiful to reopen our local club, even if only for lunch on a Sunday. beautiful selection of Italian wines and regional foods. book them further so they are not turned away
