Oh no! What happened?!. How sad for me that one of my favorite places on Federal Hill to go for family friendly, affordable, and delicious Italian food has taken a dramatic turn for the worse. The menu has changed. Prices are up and food quality service are way down. Not to mention- the portions which used to be a delight are significantly smaller. The pasta sauce is still good but the sausage was terrible. It tasted old and dry. I asked what dishes came with a side salad. The waitress told me that even though it says on the menu that the pasta specialties come with a salad- that it was going to be a up charge. We enjoyed another terrific lunch at Angelo’s today. As always , we had delicious food and friendly attentive service. The taste of the meatballs has not changed in the 60 years I have been going there. We also ordered the Pumpkin Ravioli with brown butter and sage, which is a new addition at Angelo’s. It is sensational. I always look forward to eating there. I have always experienced excellent service and great food,
Authentic and Reasonable. Very good traditional Italian offerings. Nice family style atmosphere. Good portion sizes and very reasonable prices. Recently ate her on a Thursday evening and it was packed. Most of the other fancy places in the area were not.

large classic Italian restaurant. nora was my server and made great recommendations. the kalbs with paprika was my favorite, but all they order here is fabulous. I am here in Nor’easter and order a few extra meals to go.
excellent and authentic Italian. the first article on the menu was tripe like gramma to make. I had the spaghetti, my wife had seafood and both were excellent. Family restaurant with large service!
Haven't had their veal parmesan in atleast 3 years...it did NOT disappoint! We actually had the veal parmesan, eggplant and peppers. We will be back real soon. Wish could give 10 stars
Food was excellent and I ordered a salad to start with, and Eggplant Parm it was delicious and the sauce they made had an excellent taste to it and with a side of broccoli ???

We ordered a take out dinner that was absolutely delicious. They had the order ready on time, the staff was very kind and helpful. One of our favorite restaurants.
