We were on the south side for another event and decided to try Angry Goldfish after reading other positive reviews. We arrived around 8pm on a Saturday and had no issues finding seats at the bar, so we sat and were promptly greeted by the friendly bartender. We ordered a couple of beverages, one being a blueberry mule as recommended by the bartender and an order of the angry (Sriracha spiced) goldfish. The mule was fantastic and the goldfish were absolutely with the $1 price tag. We weren't too hungry so we decided to share an entree and ordered the tenderloin upgrading the side to poutine. Total Bill: $29 On June 25, 2024, I finally had the chance to return to this restaurant with my wife after our neighbors invited us to join them for dinner. We both loved the atmosphere, drinks, and food during our visit. We began our evening with a Mojito (see picture) and an Old Fashioned (see picture), both of which were excellent. For dinner, my wife chose the Asian Peanut Butter Jelly Burger (see picture), our neighbor had the Boursin Burger (see picture), and I went for the AG Burger (see picture). You know, we’ve always loved this place. For a pub, angry goldfish has got it figured out. We go here all the time and we don’t necessarily live close by! I give their food 4/5 stars because although it is ALWAYS tasty it is also very salty I walk away puffy for the next 24 hrs. Doesn’t stop us from returning time and time again big fan of their pickle chips, poutine, and bruschetta chicken sandwich! Parking: Their parking lot is little but they have a lot across the street open for free parking if you pay attention to the signage!
This restaurant is fantastic! The food is both delicious and fairly priced. The staff are consistently amazing. I would definitely recommend it to my mother-in-law, giving it a perfect score of 14/10. For dinner, the price per person is around $20–30. Food rating: 5, Service rating: 5, Atmosphere rating: 5. There isn’t a corner of this bar and grill I don’t love. Great food (smoked brisket is a home run), great atmosphere, and great service. I’d give it a six if I could. One of the best pubs we have ever been to. Service was amazing, food was exceptional, and the prices are reasonable. Don't sleep on the tenderloin sandwich!! The staff is friendly, and the food is fantastic. This is an excellent neighborhood bar! You can't go wrong with burger and pint night on Tuesdays. The hot beef on Wednesdays is also really tasty. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as 5 out of 5!
