Well my wife and I wanted to go somewhere different for fish and chips so we went here. We both really enjoy our dinner and said we’d come back again. The food was nice and hot and very tasty. The table by us had a hamburger that looked really good. So, that will be the next thing we’ll try on our return. The only thing I’d have to say negative about the place and there is not much they can do about it is their parking lot. I drive a handicap van that has been lowered for modification purposes, and I bottomed out trying to leave. I had to exit through the entrance and even that way was a little rough. One of the best burgers I've had in the Des Moines metro. Great prices, great service and excellent ambience. Outdoor seating and indoor seating is avaliable. While the menu is small rest assured that every item is assembled with care and quality. Highly recommend the $1 goldfish crackers. You will be anything but angry at the Angry Golfish. Great little spot!!
We stopped in for the first time yesterday around 5pm for a very early dinner. The place was already hopping! We got seated and had an awesome server. The food was delivered with minimal wait and the owner (manager? was very welcoming and attentive. We will 100% return. Everyone was very happy with their food and drinks. Next time...no kids!
Excellent Lunch Eatery Had a quaint family lunch (15 total) on a Sunday Noon while back to Midwest for visit. Tables accommodated us fine. The food was over the top and we got to enjoy the Chiefs game. Wait staff very friendly attentive. Excellent choice for dining!
LOVE The Angry Goldfish! Its a great place to hang out. Bar staff is always pleasant and accommodating. Food is always on point. It does get busy (which is a good thing), but we always seem to find a table or bar stool.
Great vibe, great service and great food. In town for a competition and decided to try it based on reviews. I am so glad we did. We enjoyed everything we had and the service was great. Wholeheartedly recommend.
Wow, the burgers here are so good! I had the Asian Thai Peanut butter and Jam burger with gluten free bun. Fantastic food and service was excellent. Must stop place to eat with family sand friends.

Fried pickles and brisket were amazing very helpful friendly staff. When our waitress was busy a young man would help her out. I liked how the staff assisted each other.
