Placed a carry out order from Dirt Burger that included 2 hamburgers for non vegan eaters. We ordered the Original Dirt Burger, the Chicago Burger and the Austin BBQ. All 3 burgers were great and very tasty! The burgers held together very well. We also ordered an order of the Dirt Balls and the Sweet Potato Dirt Balls along with an order of the Chili Cheese Fries. The Dirt Balls filled our car with a delightful smell and were very good. The Sweet Potato Dirt Balls were good but to be candid, there wasn't much difference in taste between them . What? The burgers in this place are quite amazing! The volcano was perhaps the best plant-based burger I ever had! The spices, the cripple – everything was enough. I didn't want to share with my husband. He's got the Bel Air. This burger was also great, but we both really preferred the volcano! The fries were good, but nothing special. We liked the minimalist, clean atmosphere. And as they mention on their website, this is a non-pretentious vegan joint. It was pretty busy when we went, and we even saw families with children enjoying the food theirs! They keep their food cheap, what is a good word to play on the name of the restaurant! House-made veggie patties that carry a long list of delicious, whole ingredients. Unique menu with burgers including things like onion rings and fried pickles. Tried the Chicago burger which was masterfully flavorful and uniquely delicious, loved the pesto aioli addition. The fries were also delicious and overflowing from the cup. Forgot to add ranch on my order and on my way out cashier got me some free of charge. For a town that has such few vegan restaurants this place not only fills a hole but knocks it out of the park.
I love being able to go somewhere that is all vegan! And this place makes it so easy to take anyone along. My daughter loves the shakes! found this place with magie while on a road trip and made sure that back on the way back. tried the vulkan and the chicago burger, which probably had some of the best vegan burgers I ever had. also the mango shake and the North African salate are great.
these burgers are amazing! the vulkanburger was our favorite of those we tried. it is spicy and delicious. but they were all great. I wish they had more stalls in the usa, it is that good!
You cannot go wrong with anything here but my favorite is the Chicago and a side of sweet potato dirt balls!
