I have been to most restaurants in the vale lobo/ Quinta do Lago area in my three month stay in thr Algarve and found Antonio esta Certo the worst service and customer relations. Got there at opening time and was ignored by the staff at the entrance and had to flag down the hostess as she was having a good chat with her fellow waiters. After our main meal waited 25 minutes to be asked if we wanted dessert.. So asked for the bill and after paying the bill a waiter finally came to our table and asked if we would like to have the dessert menu to choose a dessert. There are so many fine restaurants in this are that have wonderful food and service but Antonio Esta Certo isn’t one of them. Gives g...
A privileged location with unfettered views... Of the 4 restaurants this one caught my eye somehow as a pleasant spot to sit and work, and despite being close to lunchtime was left to do so with just a bottle or water and no fuss which was appreciated. As the place filled up I took to the terrace, which has ample shading and ordered a light lunch. The quality of the seafood and the service was excellent, so well fed and un rushed. I spoke with the owners and staff open and friendly and have promised to be back with my family sometime soon!
Awful experience: rude manager who pushes you to order exagerated amounts of food. Poor conditions, be prepared to eat your fish in the dark... Reservation not respected, se had no table on arriving and no apologies were presented. Very arrogant manager. Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. For the exorbitating prices you should have a much better experience and at least a polite management.
Have been heading here regularly for many years and finally the straw that broke the donkeys back. One fish between 2 €58 that doesn't fit the plate plus the add on salads etc makes you realise things have just gone that step too far. All the prices have been jacked up and why ? We’d been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got the opportunity. Food was exceptional, staff friendly but not overbearing and stunning views from our table. It was mainly Portuguese locals there and a scattering of English but a nice atmosphere. I had the prawn cocktail and the peri peri chicken, both were generous portions and tasted excellent:
We were warned the place is a bit overpriced, but serving cold shrimps for €36 is beyond reasonable. Service is slow and confusing. We had 5 different people looking after us, none of them available when needed. Place is so packed with tables that it feels more like a canteen then a beach restaurant. We will neither return nor of course recommend.
The best grilled fish in the golden triangle of Algarve. Super fresh fish, not cheap but worth every cent. Love the service, a place I go every holidays when I’m Algarve for the last 15 years.

A lovely restaurant with very nice outside dining. We went for cocktails and had excellent service while enjoy the views of the beach.
