Our waitress was training a new waitress. It felt like she needed to be the trainee. Took about 10 minutes for drinks, then those needed to be replaced because of a machine problem. Get our order taken for 5 people, needed to repeat 3 of them. We had to order her way, and a few items came out wrong, part waitress, part cook. 2 pastas and a burger. Pastas were a bit dry, my burger was fine besides the wrong fries (waitress). Quesadilla was missing the chicken and barely any cheese at all (cook). Was charged $2.99 for the waffle fries which I had to wait for when the menu says $2.29. Quesadilla came with the food not as an app and had to wait for that as well. With a tip, this place is a joke...
Our server was awesome. My issue was that first when my friends and I walked in, the hosts had no idea what they were doing and they left us standing there for 5 minutes on our own with no detail. There was no communication. Keep in mind the restaraunt was not busy and was also over staffed. The host was clearly very frustrated and not happy to help us. Then when we finally got seated, my friend ordered the quesadilla burger and it was NOTHING like the photo on the menu. Definitely only half of the size. We also asked for no pink and there was lots of pink.
Saturday evening 12/10 for dinner and ordered a steak medium rare, which came in the middle raw. Cartoffels with kartoffels were a kind of frozen liquid. sent it back to cook until it was brought out again the rest of the table was ready to eat. the new steak was completely burned up and edible, with so much salt poured on it that it was disgusting. while the service was good, there was no offer to take this item out of the bill. who is in the kitchen should not be allowed anywhere near eating, since everyone aspekt this evening meal was terrible.
I have loved visiting this restaurant for years, even after they relocated. The service is consistently excellent; even when they're short-staffed, the team remains friendly and attentive. While the food may not quite reach Michelin Star standards, it's still delicious and reasonably priced, making it a great choice for a night out or a solo dining experience. Regarding family-friendliness, despite having a bar, it’s a very welcoming place for families. I've dined here with relatives of all ages, and every visit has been enjoyable. Applebee's is always a reliable choice when you find yourself in an unfamiliar city. The food is consistently hot and delicious, and the beer is always served cold. Establishments like this often attract locals who come by regularly. To my surprise, this turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I've had, thanks to the exceptional service and the friendly locals who made everyone feel welcome. The atmosphere really makes this place special.
Food was decent but our server was horrible. I won't name her because I heard she was new. She messed up our bill about 5 times no joke and lacked confidence, also 2 times our food was taken to the table behind us which I think is disgusting to have another party talk over your food.Kid-friendliness: The Kids loved the pasta on the kids menu
We dine here fairly often. The takeout is significantly better, as it often arrives missing items or cold, or sometimes both. However, dining in is enjoyable: the food and service are good, and it's usually not too crowded.
