At first, we waited a long time (20 minutes) and I went up to remind the hostess that my niece and I were outside. Super server, Guy, showed up and swiftly and kindly took our order and the food arrived amazingly fast. My niece ordered from the children's menu for 12 and under, and we did some of the games on the other side of her paper menu. She enjoyed her chicken tenders, fries and wildberry kid sized smoothie. My plain burger with lettuce tomato and onion was fine, albeit very greasy. The fries seemed tired but edible. Ultimately, I give Guy's impeccable service five stars and the food three stars. The entire staff seemed unmotivated, and my friend and I waited over five minutes before the hostess finally seated us. She appeared to be more focused on chatting with her manager, who completely ignored us. Even when she made eye contact, she showed no interest in attending to us. The place wasn't busy at all. Only one staff member put in any effort to help us, but I was so frustrated with the service that I decided to leave. It took us 20 minutes just to place our order, and people who arrived after us were served before we were. The overall atmosphere felt lazy and uncomfortable. In comparison, the Applebee's in Elmont provides much better customer service.
