This is a culinary school with a cafe and patio dining. We came today for patio dining since Covid doesn't allow for indoor dining. They have a regular menu just like a regular restaurant but run by students. There's a supervisor that supervises them but everything takes extra time. For example, we normally would finish lunch in 30 minutes but here, it takes more than an hour. The students were confused and took our dish to another table and dessert took 15 minutes even though it's already prepared. The prices are amazing. I went here after a tour of Contra Costa College. To be honest, I was very surprised. The people who work in the kitchen and work on the floor are all students in the culinary arts department and they are very well trained and they do their jobs well. I ordered the salmon, because it wasn't overpriced and because it was gluten free. The waitress was pretty knowledgeable and so what I thought would be an OK, run of the mill meal turned out to be quite delicious. I would recommend that anyone, who happened to be on campus would make a mistake if they didn't stop by for a meal. All I can say is amazing service, amazing food, and amazing prices. I'm so happy I found this jewel. Well if it wasn't for my niece being in the culinary program I probably wouldn't know of this place, so if I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. This place is awesome and the students are great I'll be back again!!! I definitely recommend this place.

What a fantastic hidden gem! Every dish I’ve tried from the menu has been absolutely delicious and very affordably priced. I believe it’s run by students from the Culinary Academy. Just be patient with the service, as they are still in the learning phase.
The restaurant has a charming vibe, and it's impressive to see the students working hard to make everything perfect. The menu is delightful, and the atmosphere is truly enjoyable!
